Great question, Ryan. I am resolved to do all that you've mentioned above.

I am resolved to delegate more to prepared fitness professionals and spend more time becoming a more effective lecturer/teacher. (I am trying to preserve my baby-boomer body). I hold ACE courses at my studio so this puts me in a position to work less and spend more time with my family. It also serves as another revenue stream.

Too, I will begin working on having a 100% complete business profile on this portal.

I am all for working more intelligently.

My business resolutions for 2012 are:
1) To finish my website
2) Sponsor/Participate in at least 6 events
3) Open at a new location (I actually need more space!)
4) Begin to network with more independant trainers across the nation.

I would love to have more time with friends and family but that doesn't look like this upcoming year will be much of a change in that department. Good thing I love this job.

My personal training resolutions for 2012 are:
1) To build up to having at least 3 consistent clients.
2) Get my needed CECs
3) Establish a quality name for myself as a quality in home personal trainer.

I would love to think that I would be able to make personal training my career so that I no longer have to work a second job to make sure that I can pay my bills but I don't see that fully happening in 2012.

Great question; love all the comments above!
An every-year priority: continuing education. I don't have as much time to work as I'd like, blessed with two little girls and motherhood, so I stay involved by keeping my brain and body current on fitness knowledge; the obesity epidemic and general population wellness (health in other areas such as environmental, spiritual, cultural, financial...) are my current passions.

Looking forward to completing the ACE Lifestyle/Weight Management Coaching Cert from ACE this spring, and thoroughly enjoy the ACE/IDEA high-quality magazine published regularly.

For my body, looking forward to trying out P90X2 from Beachbody, as I did P90X for two years and just finished Insanity (my BA is in Dance, MS in PE, work experience with Prenatal/Spec Pops/Older Adults).

Happy 2012!
