Hello Jackie,
the different organizations have their own pricing structure for group fitness or personal trainer certifications. I suggest you start right here at this web site and go the the tab 'Career Guide' where you can browse around and look for the certification that best suits your interest.
You do not mention whether you have an employment opportunity at a club in mind. If so, check with that club to see whether they have preferences for certifications.

I live in canada, and I am working at a gym 3 times a week as a Zumba Instructor. I just found out today that we now have to get our fitness instructor specialist certification.

Jackie,
in that case, I would check with the club first which certification organization they want you to go to. It is probably for a basic group exercise certification. You can also check with the other instructors (I assume there are others).

Hi Jackie. A good starting point (at least to find out the various costs associated with becoming a Fitness Specialist) could be something as simple as doing an online search using the search terms "Fitness Specialist Certification." This should bring up a number of hits for you to look into. As others have said here though, I would caution you that not all certifications are created the same or equal. Don't make the decision based on price alone, but instead do your "due diligence" by asking around in your area about what certifications others there have, and by asking potential employers what certifications they recognize.
I hope that this helps.
