Finger Stick Training

Does any one know how to get trained in performing fingersticks? I took an online training via Cholestech YEARS ago. Never used the skill. So I need to re-learn and practice.

The only thing that would come to mind Raven is taking a phlebotomy course. National Health Career Association might be a good place to start.

Their website is www.nhanow.com

All the best!

Thanks Joanne,

In the back of my mind, I was saying "without taking a phlebotomy course". LOL. I kinda figured that may be my only option. ugh! C'est La Vie!

Hello Raven Witchard,

I don't know; but, would it help to ask doctors, nurses or blood donor places? Please let us know which route you took. Thank you.
Take care.
