Do you participate in or teach mind-body based exercise?

Mind-Body FitnessYogaRunningWeight Loss Program

I'm launching a program called Pranayama Running and would love to hear your feedback. Here's the link to my video describing the program: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS57a4CBi9g
Do you think this program would benefit your clientele? Would your gym benefit from a program like this? Would you like to learn how to teach this technique to your athletes and/or clients?

Hi Lisa.

Great question, thanks for asking! The biggest difference is that the basis of Pranayama Running is founded on a combination of scientific studies on the mechanisms of breathing and spiritual breathing practices.

The focus is on breathing and harnessing the power of the breath to induce peak states for athletes and to re-establish the bodies natural rhythms related to sleep, digestion and other core functions, overcome pain and chronic injury and lose weight for those looking for a more mindful, meditative approach to their fitness routine.

I am a proponent of Chi Running, in fact many of my clients and athletes have utilized Chi Running as well. They find that the two are complimentary practices that lead into the mind-body fitness realm through different doorways.
