Hello Joy,
Good Question,
I do not charge "extra" for "deep" level assessments beyond a PAR-Q. I keep assessments within the scope of my Certifications.

Sincerely,
Michael

What would the extra charge be for? I think the initial assessment is probably THE most important time spent with your client. We have our guidelines and I think it's essential that we stay within our levels of certifications.

If done well I don't think there is a need for "deep" level assessments. It would be beyond my scope of practice.

Not sure what "Deep" means but I do offer extensive athletic testing. I don't charge extra for it but it does take up a complete session or two depending on how "in depth" the client wants to get.

No I don't charge extra because assessments are more beneficial to the trainer in designing a program. Why gimp yourself in not providing an assessment if it could help you come up with a better workout.
