We do have a portal for IDEA members to get access to individual health insurance. It is through company called Extend Health. Please feel free to visit their website by following this link, https://www.extendhealth.com/idea. If you prefer you can also call them at (800)935-7723. If you have any other questions about your IDEA member benefits you can ask us here at IDEA Answers or you can call IDEA Member Services at (800)999-4332 ext. 7 or email us at member@ideafit.com.

BCBS kinda rules the roost around here but I'd shop around. Its the only way you'll really get the best deal with the most benefit, based on you.

SHOP around, the rates are NOT the same with every carrier. Be careful to NOT always choose the cheapest rate. You sometimes do end up getting what you pay for.If you have some $$$$ health bills your plan may/may not cover most of it.
