Henry, that hasn't been my experience and I had my son 16 years ago.

I have stretch marks on my stomach which have not disappeared totally however they have improved. I love over 100 pounds which left some evil stomach stretch marks - I suggest using Coconut Oil to help with tightening up the skin - It is a medium chain triglyceride which will easily diffuse through the membrane and nourish the skin as well as tighten it up!
Good Luck and Let me know how it works!

In my experience you cannot totally get rid of stretch marks. i would have the client set some different goals.

One of the sacrifices to knowing how to pack on the muscle is stretch marks. Fact is, strech marks happen. I've got a few on the undersides of my upper arms and whatnot. In an anotomy class, I remember the professor talking about stretch marks. He said that the reason stretch marks occur, is because the collagen in the skin actually tears where the marks occur. I was visiting my grandmother not too long ago, and she always has all this cosmetic stuff that she likes to give to me to take to my girlfriend, even though she never uses it. She gave me this collagen serum stuff that she claimed was "the real deal." Well... needless to say, the stuff never made it to my grilfriend. I decided to use the serum for my stretch marks after doing some research on it, and after about 3 weeks of using it, it has GREATLY helped my stretch marks in a small area. It seems to make them just go away! Poof... I'm going to be using it for the rest of my stretch marks. It comes in a small bottle, and all you need is a dab on your finger.

If something worked for everyone, whoever made it would be filthy rich. Apparently nothing works for every single person, and for some, not at all....despite all the preventive measures in the world, I still retain my pregnancy stretch marks, though they are much lither in color and feathery, not dark and long like they were at first. Not every person develops them in the first place, either. Lucky souls. :)
