I got a nutrition certification through NASM as Fitness Nutrition Specialist. The material provided is excellent, and you will learn a LOT OF DETAIL about the entire spectrum from the food itself as to what the body does with it.

I have certifications through ISSA and Precision Nutrition. Both are written by Dr. Berardi and are excellent programs.

National Posture Institute provides four high quality nutrition certificate programs which are approved for CPEUs/CECs by organizations including the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND, formally ADA), ACSM, ISSA and more.
The four programs are:
Certificate in Functional Nutrition
Certificate in Sports Nutrition and Performance
Certificate in Family Nutrition
Certificate in School Nutrition and Wellness

I also have researched the NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification, and had gotten a chance to try a demo of their online program. This is my next certification for sure! I also have done a free online nutrition seminar through Precision Nutrition. They also have a nutrition certification. You can find info at www.precisionnutrition.com.
