Bootcamps are a grey area between Group fitness and Personal Training. Where is the line drawn in most clubs?
Our clubs offer a lot of small group (3-5) and large group bootcamps and circuit classes etc. that are fee based and often departments go head to head on who should "own" it. Seems if it is free Group Fitness can have it but sometimes GFI's have a skill set to offer more and earn more money from a small to large group format that is fee based such as tabata bootcamp, Circuit workouts (all within their scope of practice). How do other clubs handle these situations?
I am great 1 on 1, but in groups of 3-5 I start to struggle keeping all people working on the programs I have created.
However, some trainers are great with classes (20+).
