Anyone doing/teaching Punk Rope?

Punk RopeWorkshopsGroup Fitness

I'm going to a workshop so I can teach this format. Wondering what to expect. It looks like an awesome program for the 'teen age group. Hard to find good programs for that population:)

I haven't tried it, however, it was highlighted on one of our local new stations and looks like great fun. I also spoke with someone who manages a corporate wellness center where it is taught and she says it is awesome!

Enjoy your workshop.

Punk Rope is a suitable program for teens, but one of its greatest strengths is its versatility with a wide range of populations. A good starting point for learning more about the program is the Punk Rope website (www.punkrope.com). But better yet, send any questions you may have to tim@punkrope.com.

The program appears to present a fun way for the participants to maintain a high heart rate and calorie burn all within the structure of games. In my opinion, without giving an actual opinion on this specific form of exercise, so long as the participants are properly screened beforehand (because like any other high-intensity exercise, it's not for everyone), I think that anything that gets people safely moving and exercising is a good thing.
