ACE Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist Exam
Hello, I am currently studying to take the ACE AHFS exam on June 27th I have been studying the manual and associated workbook for a good amount of time as well as bought the practice exam. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the exam itself and any tips for preparing. To give you a little back ground on myself I have certifications through ACSM, NASM, and I am 1 course away from completing my Master Trainer program through ISSA. I am also working on obtaining my exercise science degree so I do have some experience in multiple areas of fitness, as far as certifications go. Also I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the ACSM Inclusive Fitness Trainer and if so what their thoughts on it were. I have done much research on this certification but can't seem to find any reviews from people who actually have it. I am curious to see how people have taken to it. Thanks a lot for any information you might have!
I just love your question because I have scheduled for that same exam on June 17. For all I can tell, it is important to read the questions and the answer very carefully to pick up on the nuances which makes one answer THE best. Now that I am in the home stretch, I am just reviewing some of the chapters with techniques and assessments that I have not used in the past (I am also NASM certified) to familiarize myself more with them.
After that: I'll take a deep breath and start the questions.
Good luck to us :-)
That's awesome I wish you the best of luck on your test. From my research I see not many people hold the credential so its very exciting to be working towards it. I hope we both can receive some helpful answers on this topic, and please let me know how you made out after the exam. There is so much information in the book and it is so well written it is almost a little overwhelming. Thanks for reaching out to me, and again, best of luck!
Here is something that may help you...
Congratulations and best of luck to you and Karin Singleton with the test.
